Achi Batain

Achi Batain is an urdu sentence which means Good Talk. Achi Batain are shared here to encourage people to become contributing members of the society. Society is made up of people tied up together. People’s behavior towards each other makes up the culture of the society. Good societies are the ones where people help each other and avoid harming each other. When it comes to Achi Batain, the best are the ones from Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.W. We start our article with two hadiths. Then some Achi Batain from Sahaba Karam (May ALLAH be pleased with them). Then achi batain by other notable persons.

Achi Batain

  • Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.W said, Muslim is the one, from whose hands and tongue other Muslims are safe. (Sahih Bukhari)
    • This hadith gives the ultimate solution to all our problems. If we all follow this instruction, our society will become an ideal society to live in.
  • Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.W said, the one who covers (sins, faults) of Muslim, ALLAH will cover his (sins, faults) on the day of judgement. (Sahih Bukhari).
    • This is another very important issue. Too often where two people sit together, they start talking about the third person. And when the third person comes to know about it, misunderstanding develop. Misunderstandings lead to enmity. These two hadiths solves all the social problems of the society.
  • Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A) said, cursed is the man who dies but the evil done by him survives.
    • This is very important point, doing sin is one thing, spreading it is even worse. It keeps piling up in your account even when your are gone. Try to abstain from spreading sins. As you may leave the sin but people might not.
  • Hazrat Umar (R.A) said, I fear the day when the disbelievers are proud of their falsehood and the Muslims are shy of their faith.
    • Hasn’t the day arrived already?
  • Hazrat Usman (R.A) said, If you want to commit a sin, find a place (to sin) where there is no ALLAH.
    • The best way to abstain from sin is to remember this it whenever a thought of sin comes in mind.
  • Hazrat Ali (R.A) said, when proven wrong, the wise man will correct himself and the ignorant will keep arguing.
    • Are we wise?
